The Shopify Store Checker tells you whether the domain you enter is a Shopify store. The answer is one of five results: Shopify store, not Shopify, password protected, blocked by robots.txt, or unreachable.

What the result tells you
The tool answers every query with one of five results:

- Not Shopify: the site runs on another platform.
- Password protected: the store is set up on Shopify but asks visitors for a password.
- Blocked by robots.txt: the site says it is closed to automated reading.
- Unreachable: the site did not answer during the query.
